Nicolas, 242 nights with Dreem.
“Beyond my chronic sleep problems, I had a problem falling asleep. “
Do you have trouble sleeping?
Well until recently sleep was not really an issue for me. But with the birth of my twins, my sleep routine fell apart. My night’s sleep lasted a maximum of 3 or 4 hours and they were fragmented. I was becoming depressed. So sleep became quite a big issue for me, especially because I had to be refreshed and efficient at work. I couldn’t just sleep behind my computer. When I heard about Dreem, I immediately jumped onboard. I remember thinking I was the perfect test for the headband!
Your experience with Dreem?
When I first received it, I was practically not sleeping at all. I had never slept so little in my life. I was ready to test any solution to fix this. But actually the impact of Dreem was impressive — and quick. I wasn’t sleeping more but in the morning I had more energy. I felt less tired.
It was particularly striking at work. In the morning, I used to feel lethargic and I couldn’t focus. When I started wearing the headband during the night, my cognitive performance boosted. I didn’t need to search for words and the ideas were coming easily.
Gradually, the general feeling that my nights were always too short faded away. Of course, my nights were still fragmented, because when your children wake up at night, you can’t do anything about it. But my life has definitely changed since using Dreem.
What’s your favorite feature of the Dreem headband?
I really enjoy the relaxing sounds because I live on a noisy boulevard. Apart from my chronic sleep disorder, I had trouble falling asleep. I woke up every time a motorcycle passed by or every time my children coughed.
The relaxing sounds allow mask all of this. It prevents me from thinking too much, mulling over things. I focus on the waves, I let myself be carried away and I fall asleep in 10 minutes. So personally I use this every day.
